Rolling his eyes, he tried not to smile at Magnus' antics. "Then it's a good thing that I never want to drive ladies wild. They'll always be safe with me." Not that Maryse hadn't tried that tactic, but he'd managed to evade his mother's matchmaking until he was out of high school and could come out.

Ending the call, he set the phone down, surprised when Magnus asked about club music. "I think so? If I don't have any of it on my computer, we can find it. There's radio stations that play it." Occasionally he'd tried to listen to it at a more manageable level to see if he liked it when he wasn't being deafened.

But would it be a good idea to let Magnus show him that? If he did, Alec might be tempted to do something dangerous. Especially when his guard was already slipping. The problem was wanting to do it.
