Looking down at Jace, he didn't realize how terrified he was of his parabatai's answer until Jace said yes. He wasn't going to push Alec away. He wasn't going to deny that there was more than just friendship between them. For a moment, he hovered over his parabatai, looking awed and hopeful before being pulled down for another kiss. Not one kiss... one night. They could have that before Jace was forced to leave and Alec had to take on the responsibilities for his family. He could be with the person he loved before he gave up everything to save the Lightwood name. He'd have that to keep him from becoming like his parents. It'd break his heart knowing they couldn't be together but at least he'd know that Jace really did love him. Settling between Jace's legs, he licked and nibbled at his parabatai's lips, rocking against him so that they'd feel that shiver of passion again. "Love you too, Jace." He'd never thought he'd be able to say those words without being afraid but Jace had to feel the same way or he wouldn't be doing this with him. He finally could say them without fear and he might not see Jace again after tonight. "I shouldn't have said no. The three of us should have went with you."
